In addition, implementing backups and snapshots due to the 24/7 nature of care more complex than expected, which required customization to make it operationally feasible. 

The solution

AMR ICT teamed up with their partner equations looking for a suitable solution. Equans, a trusted partner of Uniserver for many years, saw in the private cloud platform of Uniserver a perfect match for the challenges that AMR ICT had to deal with. 

The solution came in the form of a collaboration between AMR ICT, Equans and Uniserver. Uniserver's Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) solution is hosted in the Equans data center. This combination offered AMR ICT a scalable cloud solution with the reliability of a physical data center. 

The approach required customization, especially for implementing backups and snapshots. Thanks to the close collaboration between the three parties, these challenges were solved. AMR ICT can now quickly onboard new customers and migrate existing customers at strategic moments. This phased approach offered immediate value, with successful implementations of Rijnwaal and Amarant as the first customers on the platform.

The new environment offers AMR ICT control, flexibility and reliability. They can now rely on the continuity of a reliable cloud platform, but retain control over the planning of updates and the execution of maintenance, which is crucial in a sector where systems must always be active. A major advantage of this is that AMR ICT can determine together with their customers when updates or maintenance will take place, so that the impact on business operations is minimal.
