Uniserver gains unique position as VMware Cloud Foundation Pinnacle Partner in the Netherlands

Uniserver recognized as Pinnacle cloudpartist and stays with that the trusted provider of VCF services in the sovereign cloud.

Uniserver announces its status as Broadcom Advantage Pinnacle Partner for VMware Cloud Service Providers to retain† That means that Uniserver remains one of the few parties in the Netherlands to VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) to be delivered. In a period where Broadcom significantly reduces the number of authorized partners worldwide to 100 partners worldwide and a new, invitation-only VCSP program introduces, Uniserver remains a trusted and future-proof VMware-partner. This gives the Netherlands access to a sovereign, compliant and modern private cloud platformbased on VMware Cloud Foundation.

New Broadcom model and global partner reduction

Broadcom is terminating its current VMware Cloud Service Provider (VCSP) program effective immediately. A new, invite-only partner framework will now be in effect, allowing only a select group of strategic Pinnacle partners to offer cloud services based on VMware Cloud Foundation.

In several markets outside the EU, including the UK, the US, and APJ, the number of partners will have been significantly reduced by the summer of 2025. This policy is intended to work with fewer, larger, and technically advanced partners capable of delivering VCF as an integrated private cloud platform. Broadcom is consolidating the cloud landscape towards a limited number of providers with sufficient scale, maturity, and continuity. These are providers, such as Uniserver, that are demonstrably capable of offering a full-fledged, sovereign alternative to public cloud services.

Pinnacle Partner: Uniserver's role in the new landscape

Pinnacle status within the Broadcom Advantage Partner Program represents the highest and only partner category. Requirements include demonstrable technical certifications, investment level, regional coverage, and the ability to deliver VCF end-to-end as a managed private cloud.

Thanks to this status, Uniserver remains one of the few parties in the Netherlands that:

  • Cloud services may be provided based on VMware Cloud Foundation, including full support and service structure.
  • The benefits of VCF 9 can be delivered to anyone who wants them, including modernizing existing vSphere and VCPP platforms.
  • Data sovereignty and compliance are guaranteed through data centers in the Netherlands, with Dutch management and demonstrable certifications such as ISO 27001, NEN 7510 and SOC declarations.

With this, Uniserver plays a central role and guarantees continuity for organizations that want to continue to use VMware strategically, without being forced to switch to hyperscalers or other hypervisors.

Partner-first platform and benefits of VMware Cloud Foundation 9

Uniserver delivers VMware Cloud Foundation exclusively through a partner-first model. This means that organizations building on Uniserver are working with a platform selected by Broadcom as a structural component of VMware's cloud strategy for the coming years.

Because Uniserver VCF as a service provides Instead of just infrastructure, a complete cloud platform is created, including licensing, management, compliance, and lifecycle support, while users retain control. Uniserver handles the complexity of licensing, infrastructure, and compliance, allowing organizations to focus on their own services and innovation.

With VMware Cloud Foundation 9 as a service via Uniserver A single, integrated cloud platform is available that enables a complete private cloud portfolio to be delivered without having to build and manage complex infrastructure yourself. Within a single, unified management shell, classic VMware workloads (VMs), Kubernetes and containers, networking, security, storage, lifecycle automation, and monitoring all converge.

VMware Cloud Foundation 9 was developed based on the belief that modern cloud users expect simplicity and speed without compromising control, compliance, and performance. Broadcom conducted extensive research into the actual use of public cloud services and the needs of organizations and service providers during the further development of VCF 9.

The result is a platform where the twenty most commonly used cloud functionalities are available from a single, unified management shell. With the same ease of use familiar from the public cloud, but within a fully private, controlled, and sovereign environment. By bringing everything together in a single interface, complexity is reduced and organizations can offer, manage, and expand services more quickly, without relying on multiple disparate tools or platforms.

The platform is also prepared for additional services such as Private AI with GPU-based workloads, AI/ML applications, sovereign cloud solutions, and hybrid cloud scenarios. This allows services to be expanded from stable enterprise environments to modern and AI-driven use cases, while maintaining governance and ensuring the underlying platform is scalable, compliant, and future-proof.

Uniserver takes over the complexity surrounding platform and licensing, while organizations maintain the relationship with their end users.

In a significantly reduced global partner landscape, we are among the select group that can continue to supply VMware Cloud Foundation.
